Well I have quite a few things on the go at the moment. I know that doesn't sound like me, does it lol. Trying to concentrate on one project at a time, but 2 or 3 friends have asked me to join in with what they are stitching, so of course I've had to say yes!
But I am trying hard to get Snowmen and Reindeers finished, which is a Birdbrain Design project I started last year.
Blocks 10 and 11 done. One to go.
And I just had to put one block together to see how it was going to look.
Don't think I showed you 'The Carollers" that I finished a couple of weeks ago either. All ready to hang next Christmas. Promise to show you some non-Christmas sewing next time. Cheryl

Another Finish
Well the top is finished, but I am excited to have this one together. It is a block of the month I did last year with Lisa from FignBerry Creations and I managed to keep up each month. I didn't show much progress last year as I went along, but here is the top together -
I know a bit hard to see those cute stitcheries, so these are some of my favourite blocks -
And this one -
Bit cute. Lisa has a new Christmas bom about to start, so had to get this one finished to justify starting a new one lol. Cheryl

Friday Night Stitching
I joined in with Cheryll at www.stitchingcubbyhole.blogspot.com for -
Woo hoo and I had company for a change (apart from hubby who really doesn't see what all the fuss is about). Shez came to visit. If the truth be known we didn't start stitching til late, but I did make some progress. I decided to do some more on a Gail Pan class project "Summer Harvest"
So this was my effort on Friday night.
And today I had done enough blocks to put a small section together -

And just some show and tell from an outing with friends on Thursday -
Found a wonderful second hand shop that we could have spent hours in, and some treasures came home. The tin on the right I thought Shez could use for one of her wonderful sewing tins.
Oh and there was some fabric too (as you knew there would be). A wonderful shop I always enjoy visiting "Quilters Harvest". And they had a sale - buy a metre and get half a metre free, so of course I had to buy a metre of the lovely mottled stitchery fabric on the left and I was forced to take the rest for nothing. Cheryl

A Couple More Finishes
Well back into the stitching after a lovely week away in South Australia visiting DD2, SIL and my gorgeous little grandson. It was his 2nd birthday, so of course a party was in order while Nan and Pop were there.
There was a very special visitor to help him celebrate. The smile on his face was priceless.
So this week, before I head back to work, I have delved into the ufo pile again. I started this one about 4 years ago and had finished all the stitcheries on this except for the two vine blocks, which didn't take too long to finish stitching. So this afternoon I got to and put it together. It has since had a red border added to the outside.
I do have another finish to show you, but my camera has been playing up and my photos just seem to disappear or it won't save them, so that will have to wait until it is behaving itself. Cheryl
