Retail Therapy

After our  class a couple of weeks ago Shez and I stayed with my gorgeous friend Keryn, who just happened to have a few goodies left over from her stall at Phillip Island. So what's a girl to do, but go shopping.
So here's what I bought - some yummy xmas fabrics (perfect for applique) and some gorgeous fat quarters.  And you know how I love snowmen, so I couldn't leave the bom there "Chilly Charmers". I will enjoy working on those cute little snowmen.
And the fabrics in this one were just beautiful - can't wait to get started on this one.
And I was lucky to win this gorgeous bundle of wool at our class - so yummy and lovely to work with.  Debbie from Wooden Spool Designs dyes all her own wool and doesn't offer it for sale usually, so it is very special.
Shez and I love it when Keryn asks if we would like to go to the Christmas Shop nearby, and of course the answer is always "yes please".  This gorgeous little fellow - a Jim Shore piece - was my purchase this time.

And I can't show you much stitching as it is all Christmas gifts and swap sewing that I'm stitching at the moment, but I have started stitching this new design I got on Sunday from Natalie of "The Birdhouse".  No 8 in her series of xmas stitcheries "The Carolers" -

Very cute - I'll show you when I've done a bit more.  Cheryl

Lovely goodies you bought Cheryl. Thanks for the heads up on Natalie's new pattern. I've been looking to see if a new one was out but hadn't come across any. Forgot to ask her at the Brissie craft chow. :) Hugs,xx

Lovely goodies. it's a lucky thing you got in first because I would have grabbed Chilly Charmers if you hadn't. I now look forward to seeing how it comes up.
