These little "piles" you see are things I've been working on at various stages, and I have tried tidying them up and putting them away in drawers and plastic boxes, but then when I go looking for something I've wasted a whole day trying to find what I needed. So the little piles remain lol.

Don't worry Cheryl because my sewing room is a bit the same. I tidy up but it doesn't take long to get in a mess again.
If only you could see what is on the fringes of photos of my sewing room. Or rather thank goodness you can't.

Mine is way messier than yours why do you think I haven't shown a picture on my blog for ages lol.I've also tried the boxes and baskets as well to help with keeping things tidy :) Barb.

Thanks for showing your sewing room. Mine gets that way too, but it is a sign of creativity, right? The nicest part about mine is an old dollhouse that belongs to a friend of mine but lives at my house. I use it to store fat quarters. debbie
Being creative is a messy business! I don't have a sewing room so have little piles in the lounge.
