Catching Up

Looking back over the last few blog posts I realised there was a few things I hadn't shown you, so this is a "catchup post".

Our friend Maria had organised a Christmas decoration swap amongst a group of us and we finally got to give and receive our decorations at the FignBerry soiree in the middle of October.  My partner was Maria, and this was what she made for me -
Isn't he gorgeous?  Maria painted and stitched this cute little guy and added some  little bells.  And that was supposed to be it.

But she knows I love teddy bears, and so she also made me this - presented in a beautiful little trinket box.  Now I wish I had put a 20 cent coin beside this because it is certainly  no bigger than that. How she turns those tiny little arms and legs inside out I will never know. But he is just adorable.

I've "borrowed" these photos from Shez's blog as I'm sure I had taken photos of what I had made for Maria, but apparently not, or at least nowhere to be found. I stitched two decorations from Michelle's (Rag Tag Stitchin')  book of Christmas alphabet - the "M" for Maria of course and I also stitched the bear and just left off the "B" as Maria also loves her bears. I found a little Christmas bear jar and filled it with buttons.  This was a fun swap to do amongst friends.

I had shown you my gorgeous gifts from Keryn in the FHFS swap, but hadn't shown you what I sent to Keryn -

This fun little snowman mat, and

another xmas one as well.  You would be forgiven for thinking the theme was Christmas, but was actually wool or wool felt.  Keryn and I are both Christmas fanatics, along with a couple of others I know, so what else could I do for her.

And I couldn't finish without showing one photo from my daughter's wedding a week or so ago -
These are both my beautiful girls.
And my little man was ring bearer (bride's son)  - not that he was a least bit interested in that job lol.
