A Wonderful Day

I had the BEST day yesterday - a wonderful workshop at Quilters Harvest in Warracknabeal with wonderful tutors, great company and some gorgeous projects I will enjoy stitching.

Melissa from One Day in May, Leanne from Petals and Patches and Lisa from FignBerry - all favorites of mine.

Our projects for the day were amazing - Melissa's table runner on the left and the most gorgeous needlecase and sewing roll and Lisa's lovely sewing room wallhanging on the right.

Leanne's projects included the most beautiful three dimensional butterfly which she showed us how to put together. It has a magnet on the bottom so will stick to a jar with a metal lid - perfect for pins or buttons.  Her other projects included this beautiful mug bag with stitchery around the outside.  It came with a little stitched bag to hold a couple of teabags and matching coaster.

This was also Leanne's project - a very cute wallhanging for the laundry

Lisa's projects included this most gorgeous sewing pocket and matching pincushion, which was the project I mainly stitched on the day.

This wallhanging was also Lisa's - loved the cute little stitched rabbits in this one.

Very spoilt indeed with our beautiful projects. Lots more photos, but that is probably enough for one sitting, so will show you some more next post. Cheryl

So hard to choose from so many wonderful projects. I saw the bunny one on Lisa's site and thought it was cute, too.
